v3.0.32

Current · 2026-05-07

Proactive Notifications. Bigger than the rest of the spring drop combined, because it's the first feature that reaches out to the user instead of waiting to be opened.

Proactive Notifications

Quote-driven pings for overdue promises, fresh contradictions, stale commitments, cooling topics, and absent collaborators. Three-tier system (Critical / Standard / Insights) with daily caps so notifications never become noise. Quiet hours, per-speaker mute, opt-out per tier. Every notification is a deep link to the exact story, exact section. Local notifications only — no APNs, no third-party push servers. In-app Notifications inbox for users who keep system notifications muted. Deep-dive →

v3.0

Spring 2026

The memory-layer release. Bonfiyah stops being a transcription tool and starts being a system for what your conversations mean across time.

AI Project Context

A 250–450 word executive briefing synthesised across every recording in a project. Cached per content signature; stays fresh on its own. Deep-dive →

Compatibility Analysis (Pro AI)

Pairwise scorecard combining Attachment Theory, Big Five, Gottman Four Horsemen, and Thomas-Kilmann. Hard consent gate — refuses to run without explicit two-party consent. Deep-dive →

Team Dynamics (Pro AI)

9-box matrix, team cohesion score, swap recommendations, coverage-gap analysis across N selected speakers. Saveable team analyses. Deep-dive →

Email Intelligence

Every emailed AI Summary, Speaker Insights, and Team Dynamics export now carries tappable section headings. Tap "Decisions" or a speaker name in your inbox; Bonfiyah opens to that section. Deep-dive →

Live Speaker Reassignment with Carry-Forward

Tap any "Speaker A/B/C" label during an active recording. Picker offers expected speakers, calendar attendees, Apple Contacts search, custom name. The rename carries forward in real time. Deep-dive →

Cross-Recording Voice ID — cohort-aware + per-utterance re-clustering

Voices match across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and iCloud as a linked cohort. Per-utterance ECAPA-TDNN embedding pass automatically splits hybrid AssemblyAI clusters. Deep-dive →

Project Actions + My Action Items

Action items aggregated across every story in a project (and its sub-projects), with hierarchical project tree support. "My Action Items" surface aggregates owner-scoped actions across the entire library.

Story Episodes

Episodic groupings of recurring topics. Builds narrative arcs across recordings — the project's "season."

Verbal Consent Detection

Automatic detection of recording-notification phrases in audio ("This call is being recorded for training purposes"). Auto-grants the appropriate consent state when detected.

Auto-Translation

Per-utterance language detection and translation across 30+ languages. Multilingual transcript display with the original and translated text side-by-side.

Custom Vocabulary (Word Boost)

User-supplied terms that prime transcription accuracy — industry jargon, technical terms, names that the off-the-shelf model gets wrong.

Trim, Split, and Continue Recording

Non-destructive editing of stories. Trim silence, split a recording into two, continue an existing recording.

Resplit Voice Matching

Manual per-utterance speaker reassignment for the edge cases automatic clustering misses. Pairs with the live-reassignment picker.

Branded PDF Generation

PDF exports of AI Summary, Speaker Insights (with full per-framework cards: Big Five, DISC, Belbin, Thomas-Kilmann, Predictive Index), and Team Dynamics 9-box. Defensible, brandable, with the Email Intelligence deep-link scheme baked in.

Apple Notes integration

One-tap save of any story to Apple Notes via the iOS share sheet. Carries the summary, action items, and a deep link back to the recording.

v2.x

Late 2025 — early 2026 · LifeLog360 lineage

The Pro AI release line. Pro AI as a tier was introduced; the seven foundational AI features shipped one-by-one across this series. Lineage from LifeLog360 (the predecessor app) — App Store record reset for Bonfiyah's first-time submission, but the engine work is continuous.

v2.6 — Native iPhone integration

Calendar + Contacts read access. Lock-screen Live Activity, Dynamic Island. The recording-status widget. AirPods + Bluetooth lavalier capture stability.

v2.5 — Action Items + Speaker Themes

Per-recording action item extraction with owner / deadline / source-quote. Per-person speaking-pattern themes — recurring topics, hedging signature, energy markers.

v2.4 — Story Mode + People Memory

Narrative recap engine ("Story Mode") that reads like someone was paying attention. Per-person profile pages summarising what they bring up, how they speak, what's open.

v2.3 — Pre-Brief

Calendar-aware pre-meeting briefing. 30 minutes before a meeting, a one-page brief from prior recordings with that person.

v2.2 — Truth Layer

Cross-recording contradiction detection. Catches when something said today contradicts something said weeks ago, surfaces it before the next meeting.

v2.1 — Promise Tracker

Auto-extraction of every commitment from every meeting. Card per commitment with speaker, deadline, source quote, follow-through tracking.

v2.0 — Pro AI tier introduced

Three-tier pricing structure (Free / Pro / Pro AI) shipped. Pro AI gated by subscription with a 7-day trial. The cleavage between recording-volume features (Pro) and stakes-attached AI (Pro AI) was made explicit.

v1.x

Late 2024 — mid 2025 · Foundation

The cross-recording layer. Pro tier and the speaker-library substrate that everything Pro AI depends on.

v1.5 — Multi-device sync via iCloud

Real-time sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac Catalyst. Stop a recording on one device, watch the transcript finish on another.

v1.3 — Advanced Search

Semantic + keyword search across stories, transcripts, speakers, and tags in one box.

v1.1 — Persistent speakers

Speaker profiles that survive across recordings. The library substrate that makes everything cross-recording work.

v1.0 — Foundation

On-device transcription, per-recording diarization, two-party consent management, projects + tags, the Free tier with a real 120-minutes-per-month allotment that is fully usable.
